AchieveRE Policies & Procedures
The administration of all courses offered by AchieveRE.com shall be governed by the following policies. No written or oral description by any registrar or instructor shall supersede the written policies of AchieveRE.com.
Tuition Fees: Tuition must be paid in full before the first day of class. All class fees and important material is covered within tuition.
Deposits: All partial deposits will be honored for one year from the time that the deposit was made. If the student intends on transferring a deposit it must be within the one year period and may only be transferred to another student or class in the event the student has not attended any class sessions. AchieveRE.com must be notified in writing of the student’s purpose. AchieveRE.com has the right to approve or disapprove of any deposit transfer.
Cancellation Policy: AchieveRE.com requests that if a student needs to cancel or reschedule a class to please notify the offices as soon as possible. AchieveRE.com will hold the class for one (1) year from the original date of payment. AchieveRE.com does not have a cancelation fee if the student cancels before the first class session. If a student does not show up for a class without prior notice they automatically forfeit the right to receive a refund.
Refund Policy: AchieveRE.com will credit students for one year from the date of payment that does not finish their class. The credit is valid within AchieveRE.com for one year from the date of payment. No refunds will be made upon completion of the first 4 hours of any class. All refund requests must be received within 30 days from the original class start date. No refunds will be issued after 30 days from the class start date. Payments made with cash or check will be issued a refund through a check. Checks can only be issued to the person who made the payment. Payments made with credit card, will be refunded directly to the same card used. Our accounting office reviews and approves all refund requests; this process can take 2 to 6 weeks.
AchieveRE.com will not issue refunds for cram courses, continuing education courses, online courses, books, videos, software, flashcards or calculators.
Transfer Policy: Students must obtain written authorization from the Director or Administrator to switch between schools, classes, or crams. Instructors are not authorized to approve transfers. Students who try to switch schools prior to written authorization may find themselves bumped from the class. Priority seating is given to those who attended class at each location. Students switching from one program to another can be charged a transfer fee if the transfer is permitted.
NSF Check Charges: The student is responsible for all tuition payments. A NSF fee of $30 will be charged for all returned checks, regardless of who pays for the class (i.e.: company or relative).
Materials: The necessary materials will be distributed to the students; they will receive only one set of materials. Replacement materials are the student’s responsibility. Materials will change periodically.
Repeats/Retakes: FREC rules dictate that students who fail a class exam must wait a minimum of 30 days before they can retake the exam. If a student wants to retake the exam before the 30 days, the student must retake the entire course before being eligible to retest. Priority will be given to retake students over review students if classes are full.
Review Students: If you have passed the end of course exam and wish to further review prior to the state exam you are classified as a review student. There are 3 rules that apply to review students. 1) Review students must register with the office. 2) Space is limited; all review students will be placed on a space available basis. New students and retake students obtain priority over review students. 3) During classroom discussions we ask that review students do not participate.
Hurricane/Tropical Storm Policy: In the event there is storm AchieveRE.com will monitor the weather and make decisions regarding cancellation of classes on situational basis. If classes are cancelled AchieveRE.com will make all efforts to quickly reschedule classes, as time and space permits. It is not always possible to schedule make-up classes during the same day and time the original class was scheduled.
Cram Courses: Cram courses are designed for those who have completed their class and are preparing for the state exam. All students must pre- register for all cram courses. Students are expected to complete all cram materials prior to attending the cram course. AchieveRE.com allows students to register for one cram course at a time.
Cell phones and pagers: Cell phones are to be turned off or on silent while in class. Cell phones are not allowed to be used in the classrooms. AchieveRE.com reserves the right to ask a repeat offending student to leave class and will not be permitted back into class with phone or pager.
Laptop computers: Laptops are permitted in classrooms as long as they are used for note taking purposes and are not distracting surrounding students. Students who choose to use a laptop may be asked to sit in a specific area in considerations of others. Any student found using a computer inappropriately will not be permitted to further use the computer in class.
Recording Devices: Recording devices are not permitted in class. This includes tape recorders, digital recorders, cameras, camera phones, video recorders, etc.
Absences: Individual state agencies limit the amount of class time students are allowed to miss. Students who miss an excess of permitted class time will be required to make up the time and material prior to testing. Instructors will further explain this policy in class.
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited. Students are permitted to smoke before, after class, or during breaks.
Classroom comfort: Instructors may adjust temperatures for overall classroom comfort. Classroom temperatures may vary, please dress accordingly.
Neatness: Please replace chairs when leaving class. Also please place trash in containers provided. Any students found vandalizing AchievRE.com property will be dismissed from class without a refund.
Questions: Each instructor has his or her own specific policy on answering student questions which will be explained at the start of the class.
Class Examinations: All class exams are required to be administered under secure conditions. Any suspicions of cheating on an exam may be reported to the appropriate state agency. Students found cheating on an exam will be dismissed from class with no refund or class credit.
Exam Review: AchieveRE.com does not review class exams with students. Class exams are not a part of the learning process; they are utilized as an evaluation to determine whether or not a student is qualified to proceed to the state exam.
Recruiting: All real estate and brokerage recruiting for employment will be conducted outside of the classroom, in accordance with FREC rules. Violations will be reported to the commission.
Weapons: No weapons, including (knives or firearms) are permitted on company property at any time! Persons found violating this policy will be removed from the class with no refund or class credit. This policy includes those who obtain a license to carry a weapon; however off duty officers are exempt from this policy.
Study aids and products: Additional study aids, reading material and courses suggested by the instructor are optional. However, they are recommended as they will assist you in studying for the State exam and will expand your knowledge.
Lost & Found: AchieveRE.com will not be held responsible for any personal items, left on the premise. Found items will be kept in the office. Label all class materials with your name. Do not leave valuable items unattended at any time.
Disruptive Students: AchieveRE.com reserves the right to remove any student who the instructor feels their behavior is distributive and preventing the other students from learning without a refund.
